Our unborn childrens´ right to a safe labor

Around 700  babies are stillborn in Sweden every year. Around a third of them were healthy and ready to be born. They died only because we chose not to help them out in time.
With the fewest amount of hospital beds per capita in the European Union – and with no consequences for malpractice leading to a patient´s death – there is nothing stopping the downward spiral of the Swedish health care sector. This directly affects our unborn.
An unborn baby has no legal rights in Sweden. This is why hospitals continue to send pregnant women back home from the hospital, even when the baby doesn´t move or the uterus is empty of fluid. When the baby subsequently dies, the hospital is usually criticized by inspecting authorities. The hospital pledges to improve their routines. End of story. No-one is held accountable. We are here to change that.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.
